What's new?

Last Monday, June 10th, Hebrew University hosted a day to raise awareness for people with disabilities. Representatives from Clubhouse Jerusalem attended the event to advocate for people that deal with mental illness. We presented the clubhouse model to the medical school as a way to get involved in the community and share our story.

This week we were also joined by our newest employee, Mackenzie. She will be with us for the summer working on marketing for the clubhouse. Mackenzie is a business student from Florida USA, and it is her first time in Israel.

We are so excited to welcome her to the Jerusalem Clubhouse family!

ביום שני, 10 ביוני, האוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים ארחה יום להעלאת המודעות לאנשים עם מוגבלויות. נציגים מקלאבהאוס ירושלים השתתפו באירוע לעידוד המודעות על אנשים המתמודדים עם מחלה נפשית. הצגנו את מודל הקלאבהאוס לבית הספר לרפואה כדרך להיות חלק מהקהילה ולחלוק את הסיפור שלנו.

השבוע הצטרפה אלינו גם עובדת חדשה, מקנזי. היא תהיה איתנו הקיץ ותעבוד בתחום של שיווק הקלאבהאוס. מקנזי היא סטודנטית לעסקים מפלורידה, ארה"ב,  וזו הפעם הראשונה שלה בישראל!!!
